The Polar Bear:

Polar Bear, also called white bear, is the common name that receives the bear species inhabiting the Arctic ice and the Hudson and James bays, in Canada as well as on the east coast of Greenland.United States has decided to include the polar bear on its list of endangered animals. According to sources of the U.S., climate change is destroying their habitat in the Arctic Ocean and thus reducing the number of species on our planet rapidly.

Polar bears feed on fruits, plants, mussels and seaweed, but their favorite prey are seals, although occasionally some walruses and beluga capture.

Scientists from the U.S. government think that in 50 years will die two-thirds of the current population of polar bears. This is about 25,000. A decision is expected in January, but the Interior Department said it needed more time to study proposals from members of Congress and environmentalists.

thats sad :( they are so cute but they are endangered :(:(

Leatherback turtle:

It is the only sea turtle that has no hard shell, but rather a soft leather skin without scales. The color varies and black coffee, smooth, elongated shell, ending in a point beyond the tail.

Inhabitant of the Caribbean and Atlantic and Indian oceans, from Labrador, British Isles, Norway, Alaska and Japan to southern Argentina, Chile, Australia, Cape Gracias a Dios and Mediterranean.

Lives in waters far from the coast or in shallow offshore waters, but occasionally enters bays and estuaries.

In the Pacific is located in Playa Grande and Playa Langosta. In the Atlantic Gandoca Manzanillo.

They are omnivores, but they have been seen eating jellyfish or jellyfish, other foods are crustaceans, molluscs, tunicates, fish and blue-green algae.

They are endangered because of :

-Illegal hunting.
-Poaching by humans and animals to take their eggs.

Poor turtles... they are so cute :3 but they need HELP!

Irrawaddy dolphin:

The Irrawaddy dolphin is at "high risk of extinction" because there are only 85 copies of this species that inhabit the waters of the Mekong River (Cambodia), according to the latest report from the World Wildlife Fund (WWF).

The population of this animal, known as "Orcaella brevirostris" by its scientific name, live along some 190 kilometers of the river between Kratie province, Cambodia and Khone Falls, near the border with Laos.

In this research we have used photographic records of the river, to identify individual copies each, easily recognizable by their unique dorsal fins.

Thanks to this system, some units have joined this population that previously had not been identified, so it has gone from 76 in 2009 to 85.

"Although the population of these dolphins is slightly higher than previous estimates, we have realized that it has not grown in recent years," said program director of WWF's freshwater, Lifeng Li.

This poor animal needs help :"(.I did not knew of this animal untill now! I guess he dose need alot of help!

Javan Rhino:

The Javan rhino or probe (Rhinoceros sondaicus) is the world's most endangered rhino. There are only 40 to 50 copies Udjung Kulon National Park on the island of Java and no more than 8 individuals in Cat Tien National Park in Vietnam.

This giant is endangered because of :

- Deforestation.
- Poaching. It is the main factor responsible for their extinction because their horns are highly valued.
- The loss of habitat in Southeast Asia is the result of wars, such as the Vietnam War.

STOP DEFORESTATION PLEASE this makes the animals lose they homes!! :"(

Snow Leopard:

... "When this mountain cat stalking its prey between walls of rock, moves on wide legs with fur between the toes. He does it quietly, slowly" as snow melts and slides down a cliff, says Raghu -. almost have to stop seeing him for a moment to make sure the animal is moving. "If you hit a loose rock, the stops with the leg to avoid making noise." At this very moment, a leopard could be close, moving in perfect silence and tense muscles. But where? that's the question everyone is asking, well how many are left?

The Snow Leopard, Snow Leopard or Irbis is in the Himalayan mountains of Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, China and Nepal. Normally up to 2000 to 6000 meters.

The snow leopard feeds on large mammals and livestock feeds. That makes him marry farmers as a threat but that's not the real reason you are in danger of extinction. This is in danger of extinction by the house for your skin too. 5000 of them are only approx.

They measure from 0.75 to 1.3 meters not including the tail. They live 18 approx. They are considered adults at age 2. Mothers typically have two cubs but the most I have seen is 5 pups. Moms have the babies in her womb (this period is called gestation period) 100 days approx.

This beautifull wild cat is in so much danger please stop killing this poor cat it is not he's fault that the large mammals and the livestock seems yummy...

The Manatee:

Like whales and dolphins, mammals found in this group are adapted to an aquatic life. The members have developed over the fins. The lower a rounded tail and flat, with a large paddle-shaped. These animals perform all their activities in the water, just stick their head for air and her breathing still remains similar to ours. The manatee is from Puerto Rico.

This big guy is a endangered species because of :

Illegal hunting.
The water pollution.
The destruction of their habitat by dredging and speedboats engines. Is a legally protected species in the country.
Manatees possess no natural enemy. Yet there are a number of factors that threaten this species. Some of the factors that have been documented in Puerto Rico are:
-Hunting for meat consumption.

-Impacts of motor boats and watercraft ("jet skis") conducted at high speed.

-Water pollution.

-Discarded fishing nets in the water that cause death by drowning.

Loss of habitat to build on the coast without proper planning.

Poor animal I'm telling you people to stop animal cruelty..it is NOT cool.Animals have feelings..Do you know what is love and compassion? well the animals need that.. please oh please please please STOP ANIMAL CRUELTY!!!!!!!! :"(
